no, this isn't the tourist bus... a regular bus on wellington, right across the street from the tube, notice it is on the other side of the street

i took the picture after i had a few pints!!! oh yeah, i almost saw my first brawl at the pub too!

mind the grass... for that actually used to be a moat... that was fed by the thames... but then, it wouldn't flow back... and it actually caused such a stench that it was drained... the moat was supposed to protect the castle, but word has it that the stench alone did a much better job!

tower of london - guard... at first we thought it was a prop to lend to the authenticity of the place then we saw him/her blink... we never did figure out if the guard was male of female, but we did observe the changing of the guards... which was quite a production!!

knight's armor with the horse... he actually looks like an oversized donkey from shrek... it was koowelle seeing the progression of the armor. the horses also got a little larger... this one was a fairly decent size, there were some that were mini- horses. check out the metal skirt on the armor!!
